The Ossan Newbie Adventurer (Shinmai Ossan Bouken-Sha, Saikyou Paati Ni Shinu Hodo Kitae Rarete Muteki Ni Naru) is a manga in which Rick Gladiator, a 32-year-old former clerk at the adventurer's guild, decides to change his life by taking the guild’s preliminary examinations to become an adventurer himself. Despite his determination, many dismiss him because of his age. However, Rick quickly silences his doubters with an impressive display of strength and skill, earning the admiration of onlookers.
